Managing Your Data

How do I add my income?
Go to the Incomes tab and tap the '+' button. Enter your income source name, amount, and frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.). You can add multiple income sources to get an accurate picture of your total monthly income.
How do I add a debt?
Go to the Debts tab and tap the '+' button. Enter the debt name, current balance, APR (interest rate), and minimum payment. For credit cards, you can also add your credit limit. This information helps calculate accurate payoff timelines.
How do I add a bill?
Go to the Bills tab and tap the '+' button. Enter the bill name, provider, amount, frequency, and due date. You can categorize bills (housing, utilities, subscriptions, etc.) and add notes for reference.
What's the difference between debts and bills?
Debts are balances you're paying off over time (credit cards, loans) with interest. Bills are recurring expenses (rent, utilities, subscriptions) that don't have a payoff balance. Debts are included in your payoff plan; bills are used to calculate your available budget.

Payoff Strategies

What is the Avalanche method?
The Avalanche method prioritizes paying off debts with the highest interest rate first. While making minimum payments on all debts, you put extra money toward the highest-APR debt. This saves you the most money on interest over time.
What is the Snowball method?
The Snowball method prioritizes paying off the smallest balances first. While making minimum payments on all debts, you put extra money toward the smallest debt. This gives you quick wins and builds momentum, which can be motivating.
Which strategy should I choose?
If saving money on interest is your priority, choose Avalanche. If staying motivated with quick wins is more important to you, choose Snowball. Both methods work - the best one is the one you'll stick with.
How does the payoff plan work?
Your plan calculates how much you can put toward debt each month after bills and a safety buffer. It shows which debts to prioritize, your estimated debt-free date, and how much interest you'll pay. The plan updates automatically when you make changes.

Scenarios & Planning

What are scenarios?
Scenarios let you see 'what if' projections. For example, what if you paid an extra $100/month toward debt? You can compare different payment amounts to see how they affect your payoff timeline and interest savings.
How is my budget calculated?
Your available debt budget is calculated as: Total Monthly Income - Total Monthly Bills - Safety Buffer. This shows how much you can realistically put toward debt payments each month.

Subscription & Premium

What's included in the free plan?
The free plan includes up to 2 debts, 1 income source, and 1 bill. You get access to both payoff strategies, basic scenarios, and your debt-free timeline.
What does Premium include?
Premium unlocks unlimited debts, incomes, and bills. You also get custom scenario amounts, data export, payment reminders, and priority support.
